Why it matters

Thousands saved, or a roof saved.

Unnecessary removals cost homeowners thousands. Hidden defects put families and property at risk. Both come from guessing. An assessment replaces the guess with a 360-degree look at the tree, its roots, its canopy and the site it stands on, to industry-recognized standards.

A tree that just looks wrong, a sale, a new build, or a removal quote you are not sure about: an assessment gives you a clear recommendation and a plan, not an opinion from the curb.

Which level do I need?

Level 2 is the standard assessment most homeowners need: a detailed, 360-degree evaluation of one tree. Level 1 is a quick walk-by across multiple trees or a whole property. Level 3 is for deeper investigation with decay detection, resistance drilling or aerial inspection. Tell us the tree and Matt will say which one fits.

What does a Level 2 assessment include?

Visual inspection, sounding with a mallet, root collar evaluation, canopy assessment, pest and disease identification, and site condition analysis.

Will you just tell me to remove it?

No. The point of the assessment is to know what needs to be done and what does not. Where pruning or Plant Health Care can preserve the tree, that is the recommendation. Removal only when it is warranted.

What does it cost?

It depends on the level. Matt confirms the level and the cost before the visit is booked.
