I have been serving property owners in the Columbia and Central Missouri area since 2010. I founded Resource Tree and Land in 2012 and grew it into a respected, effective tree care company. In 2024 we merged with a larger entity to grow and provide more opportunities for homeowners and employees alike. After completing that transition and handing the company off, I am now in a position to more fully focus on my craft and the people I serve.

ISA Tree Risk Assessment QualifiedI founded Tiemann Tree Source with the goal of delivering the highest quality tree care possible, using my experience, credentials and perspective to give Central Missouri homeowners honest answers and appropriate solutions for their trees. With less emphasis on production quotas and more focus on relationships, your needs will be truly understood and addressed.
Having worked in every facet of tree care and built a strong professional network through years in the industry, I am proud to give back to the customers who have given so much to me.
And if Tiemann Tree Source is not the best fit for your situation, I will tell you that, and help guide you toward the right vendors and a realistic expectation of cost.Matt Tiemann
Columbia and Central Missouri. Every facet of tree care, from planting to removal.
Grew it into a respected, effective tree care company.
To grow and provide more opportunities for homeowners and employees alike. Then completed the transition and handed the company off.
Fully focused on the craft and the people he serves. Growing, planting and caring for the right trees, in the right ways.
The two go well together. I love sharing my craft with my two sons and passing on my love of arboriculture and the work itself, hoping to give them the gift of loving what they do, serving others, and appreciating the rewards of honest work. Those values were passed down to me by my parents while growing up on a hog farm in Martinsburg, Missouri.
It is my goal to help raise the standard of tree care, especially tree planting, and to play a role in improving the urban forest for generations to come.
The last 15 years have been a dream come true. Becoming a business owner, a Board Certified Master Arborist, and having opportunities I never imagined are only possible because so many people gave me, my team and my family a chance to earn their business. To long-time customers of over a decade and to new customers yet to come: thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
Tell us the spot and the job. A Board Certified Master Arborist picks with you, plants it right, and stands behind it for Year One.
