The Swamp White × White Oak Hybrid combines the best traits of two of the most respected native oaks in North America. This hybrid blends the strength, longevity, and classic form of White Oak with the adaptability and faster growth of Swamp White Oak, creating an outstanding shade tree for modern landscapes.

The result is a tree that grows more vigorously than traditional White Oak while still developing the strong branching structure and long lifespan that make white oak family trees so valuable. Its foliage typically shows traits of both parents, often with rounded lobes and a lighter, silvery underside, giving the canopy attractive texture and movement in the wind.

Because of its Swamp White Oak parentage, this hybrid also handles heavier soils and occasional moisture better than many other oaks, making it an excellent choice for a wide range of Midwestern planting sites.
